Brian McIntyre’s baritone voice has been recognised as exceptional for its power, resonance and the emotional impact it commands in live performance.

Brian spent many years living in Continental Europe absorbing the musical idioms of France, Spain, Austria and Switzerland. He speaks French, Spanish and German fluently. Whilst living in Vienna, Brian was a founder member of the classical / jazz fusion band, Plaice, alongside Austrian jazz guitarist Markus Ratka and Australian classical violist Andrew Jezek. Together they composed, recorded and gigged in a city renowned for its musical excellence and creativity.

He has studied under Robert Alderson at the Conservatory of Music in Rathmines where he expanded his classical repertoire. Brian has sung with the Opera Ireland, performing in Die Zauberflote by W.A. Mozart under the baton of David Brophy, directed by Dieter Kaegi. He also sings with Glória, Ireland’s Gay & Lesbian choir.

Brian met Kevin five years ago as a member of the Gardiner Street Gospel Choir. Through this meeting he discovered a kindred spirit in musical passion, both sharing a desire for excellence and authenticity in musical performance.
